Beth Franca is an experienced Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with over 17 years of therapeutic practice with clients with complex trauma and mental health issues. She brings diverse clinical skills, calm and compassionate demeanor and wisdom of extensive practice experience to guide people through their journey towards healing.
Beth works with women through life transitions, pre and post-natal adjustment, parenting skill building and relationship issues. She has also specialised in therapy for young children, teenagers and young adults with improving their mental health, managing behavioural issues, neuro- affirming practice and sexuality and gender diversity issues.
Beth uses a variety of therapies including CBT, DBT, schema therapy narrative therapy, art therapy, play therapy and relaxation techniques tailored uniquely to each person’s needs for their recovery.
Fees and Rebates:
$200 for a 60 minute session via telehealth or in person
$185 for 60 minute sessions for Healthcare (concession) card holders via telehealth or in person
Medicare rebates may apply for 10 sessions per calendar year. If your GP or psychiatrist has provided you with a Medicare Mental Health Care Plan, this will provide you with a rebate of $85.20 per session. Please see the Medicare website for further information. To ensure that your referral and Care Plan are complete and to receive your rebate, please request your GP clinic to email a copy to beth.franca83@gmail.com.
Private Health Rebate:
You may be eligible through your Private Health Fund for a rebate for sessions. Please confirm with your insurer whether your plan covers services. Full payment is required at the appointment and you can claim back from your fund with a paid receipt of service provided.
**Please note that you are not able to claim both Medicare and Private Health for the same appointment.
Appointments and Cancellations:
Please contact via email to make an appointment on beth.franca83@gmail.com. As I am busy with sessions, email is easier for me to book your session time. If you have further questions, I can return your phone call.
Life happens and we all need to reschedule sessions sometimes. At least 2 business days are required to cancel your appointment. Please be conscientious and advise as soon as you know you cannot attend, so the session time can be offered to others in need. Cancellations under 24 hours will incur a full fee payment and are not Medicare rebated.
If you are unwell, your session can be provided by telehealth instead. Please contact via text to rebook to telehealth. This will not incur a cancellation fee.
Availability:
Sessions are available in person or telehealth on Thursdays from 9am-3pm.
Telehealth sessions can be booked on Thursdays and Wednesdays.
